Paper Presentation Instructions
Accepted papers have been selected for either an oral presentations or an interactive poster presentation and lightning talk. Instructions for presenting are given below.
ORAL PRESENTATIONS
- RoboSoft 2024 will host single track Oral Sessions, enabling each speaker to present in-person.
- Each talk will be 8 min + 2 min Q&A.
- Each presenter will present their slides from their own computer.
INTERACTIVE POSTER PRESENTATIONS AND LIGHTNING TALKS
- Each author is responsible for printing and posting the posters on the panels and being present during the interactive sessions.
- The maximum poster dimensions are 44" high x 34" wide.
- Poster stands may not have a table or power for laptops.
- Each poster presenter will also give a lightning talk in the session immediately before their scheduled poster session.
- Each lightning talk is limited to strictly 1 minute.
- All slides will be run on a single conference laptop.
- By March 27th, 1 slide should be uploaded with a title as follows: PosterGroup_PaperNumber_Presenter'sLastname.ppt Note that your Poster Group is either 1, 2, 3, or 4, as noted by the Session Title listed above. Upload link: https://forms.gle/CmyijbaVijbDABTL9
- Slide must be less than 10 MB and must be in powerpoint format. Please check that all videos will be able to play on any format computer (i.e. convert videos to gif). There is no template for the slide.
Call for Papers
The 7th IEEE-RAS International Conference on Soft Robotics (RoboSoft 2024) will take place in San Diego, CA April 14-17 2024.
We invite participants to submit contributed papers RoboSoft.
Submission deadline: November, 1 2023
Format
RoboSoft papers should be six pages (US letter size) in length, with a maximum of up to two extra pages that can be purchased.
The number of pages includes the references, appendices, and acknowledgements.
Papers should be formatted in standard IEEE format.
Templates for LaTex and MS-Word are available at the RAS paper submission support page.
Videos to complement the submission are strongly encouraged.
Video Submission Guidelines for Contributed RoboSoft Papers
Videos should be submitted with your paper and have the following format:
- File size: 20MB
- File extension check and correction: mpeg, mp4, mpg
- Maximum duration: 3 minutes
- Minimum height: 480
- Minimum frame rate (fps): 20
- Scan type: progressive
Final paper submission instructions
Every paper accepted for the RoboSoft conference needs to be uploaded in final version through PaperPlaza during the final submission time window (February 23 - March 1).
Accompanying material instructions
During final submission you will need to submit the following accompanying materials:
- The final version of your paper
- Copyright form (provided at the moment of submission directly by PaperPlaza)
Presentation of RA-L papers
All published papers RA-L are eligible for presentation at RoboSoft, during an eligibility time window. Authors are automatically offered the option to present their paper at one of these conferences upon notification of final acceptance.
